IMAST encourages and supports the birth of new enterprises in the field of the polymeric and composite materials.

IMAST conducts scouting actions aimed at industrializing research results and it promotes the start-up of hi-tech enterprises.

Among the several initiatives led by IMAST, particular attention must be paid to “Polymerchallenge”, an international “business plan competition”, that annually raffles off a prize of 300.000 euros, as “seed capital”, for the birth of a start-up in the region.

The winner and other teams, selected among the finalists, participating in an "Investor Roadshow" to raise funds from private investors, thanks to national and international network of IMAST.
