Figures on the number of researchers involved in research projects show how the presence of IMAST has fostered employment over the years with the involvement of 240 researchers per year in its projects and a valorisation of young skills with the inclusion of approximately 55 new researchers per year.
The recruiting action has also confirmed a function of protection of skills by keeping high the level of professionalism and encouraging their possible relocation in the sectors pertaining to the District.
At the end of 2017, 95% of staff passed through IMAST was employed in the composites sector.
